We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, use the App, or contact us.

• Group and expense data you enter into the App
• Usage analytics and app performance data
• Device information and identifiers
• Communication preferences and settings

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Pip service
• Calculate expense splits and group balances
• Send payment reminders to group members (Premium feature)
• Respond to support requests and communications
• Comply with legal obligations
• Improve app performance and user experience

Pip does not connect to your bank accounts, credit cards, or any payment provider. We do not collect:

• Bank account details or card numbers
• Transaction data from payment processors
• Location data (unless you explicitly share it)
• Contacts or address book data without your permission

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share data with:

• Service providers who help us operate the App (hosting, analytics) — bound by data processing agreements
• Law enforcement when required by applicable law
• Successor entities in the event of a merger or acquisition, subject to the same privacy commitments

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from within the App or by contacting support@pip.orbitnest.io. Data is permanently deleted within 30 days of a deletion request.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.
