Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using the Pip mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and OrbitNest Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer and operator of Pip.

Pip is a group expense splitting application that helps users:

• Create groups to track shared expenses with friends, family, and colleagues
• Add expenses and split them equally, by percentage, or by custom amounts
• Track balances across multiple currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, AED, and SAR
• View expense history and settle outstanding balances
• Optimise group settlements to minimise the number of transactions (Premium feature)
• Send payment reminders to group members (Premium feature)

The App is provided on a freemium model with core features available for free and advanced features available through a premium subscription.

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your information as necessary
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach

Pip is a manual expense tracking tool. We do not connect to your bank accounts, credit cards, or payment systems. All expenses and amounts entered into the App are provided solely by you, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you input.

Pip is not a financial institution, payment processor, or money transfer service. Settlement of debts between users is handled directly between those users outside of the App.

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Input false or misleading financial information to defraud other group members
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its infrastructure
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated scripts or bots with the App

Pip offers an optional Premium subscription that unlocks additional features. Subscription terms:

• Subscriptions are auto-renewable and billed through the App Store or Google Play
• You may cancel at any time from your device's subscription settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORBITNEST INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FINANCIAL DISPUTES BETWEEN GROUP MEMBERS.
